The Intermodal Division of Howard Sheppard, Inc. provides transportation services for the port of Savannah. Our Intermodal Division offers local and regional services to our customers. Our fleet handles both imports and exports and specializes in the transportation of refrigerated freight.
The Intermodal terminals are located in Sandersville and Savannah, GA. Both terminals are fully staffed and equipped with service bays and fuel islands.
The corporate office in Sandersville is located on a 65-acre tract and has a large drop area to accommodate our local customers. Howard Sheppard Inc.'s warehouse is also located in Sandersville and is available for staging customer freight, including loads waiting to be exported as well as imported loads awaiting customer delivery.
The Savannah terminal is conveniently located less than one mile from the port on Export Boulevard. The terminal is located on a fenced and gated 5.6-acre tract with video surveillance.
